This plaque is located in front of the preserved Mill Wheel. It is more or less opposite Stokesley Motors, just before the bridge over the Leven.

The Mill Wheel was part of Fidler's Mill, which stood until 1983 in a spot which is now part of the car park of the Co-operative supermarket. The reclamation and relocation were done by the Stokesley Society.
